The Parish Religious Education Program (PREP), also known as CCD, offers formation in the Roman Catholic Church to children in grades 1-7. Although every year they learn about our Faith and grow in the love of Jesus Christ, there is a specific concentration at every level. That is why it is important for children to attend all 7 years. The stronger their faith, the easier it will be to handle whatever life gives them.
Grade/level 1 Introductory to the Roman Catholic Faith
Grade/level 2 Reconciliation and Holy Communion for the first time.
Grade/level 3 The Apostles and Nicene Creed
Grade/level 4 Ten Commandments
Grade/level 5 The 7 Sacraments
Grade/level 6 Old Testament
Grade/level 7 New Testament and Sacrament of Confirmation
PREP (CCD) REGISTRATION 2024-2025 If you have not registered contact Sylvia Morales by email smorales@stanthonyofpaduarcs.org any day prior to September 20th to arrange a suitable time. Classes begin on Monday, September 16th, from 3:45-4:50 PM No registrations will be taken on this class day.
Annual fee: One Child $125.00—Family Rate: $200.00 Children new to the program must bring: a copy of their Baptismal Certificate.
There is a minimum two year preparation for the reception of the Sacraments of Penance, Holy Communion and Confirmation. However, according to Archdiocesan guidelines, children must attend classes from grade 1 to grade 7.
